New Elvis Support Application

The Elvis Support Application Version 2.7.698 can also be downloaded separately. It works also with older Elvis 2.7 versions.
We highly recommend to use only the new version since it fixes a problem that may prevent the "Windows Managament Instrumentation" (WMI) service from starting after adjusting the DCOM/Network settings with the Elvis Support Application. In addition, the "Collect Data" function has been extended and adjusted to Windows 7.

Is Elvis running on Windows 7?

The current version 2.7.698 works on the 32 bit versions of Windows 7 without problems. The known limitations concerning Falcon (serial drivers don't work) and WibuKey (requiring a separate setup of the 64 bit drivers from http://www.wibu.de/) are also valid for the 64 bit versions of Windows 7.
