Elvis Web now with AJAX Technology

Elvis Web is based on the AJAX technology now. This means that there is no cyclic reload of the web page any more, but any dynamic changes are accomplished by client-side JavaScript code. This results in a much better user experience (no flashing due to page reloads, smoother updates).

Extended Graphics support

Elvis 2.7 offers you extended graphical options:

For PNG grahics, the "Alpha Channel" (Transparency information, description and example e.g. here) is fully supported. With this, you can define parts of controls as completely or partially (0-100%) transparent. To create PNG graphics you may use any graphics software (e.g. Photoshop or the free GIMP2).
If you know the benefits of vector graphics (free scaling, compact), you will be pleased by the Elvis support for SVG. Most vector based graphics software can create SVG.

Miscellaneous (small sample)

Switch operating mode (inactive, record, playback) of a schedule with a datapoint. With this you can create a presence simulation very easily.
