Summary

The licence in the WIBU Key (dongle) is not recognized though the key is connected

Details

If the WIBU key is connected while the program (ElvusSbr, ETS3) is running, the licence cannot be read out.

You can read out the dongle status via Control Panel -> WIBU-KEY.

Select the Content tab and then below Desktop -> Computer the relevant interface (LPT or USB).

Then you can read out the licenses programmed into the dongle. If the license in question is contained in the list, please restart the computer.

When the key is connected the first time, the Windows hardware recognition must be performed.

Hint: Please connect the key always to the same USB port, since each USB port is managed individually by Windows.
