Symptoms

If the step "Scan devices" is performed for a line which is not the local line (i.e. line address is not that of the gateway), under certain circumstances addresses are wrongly recognized. It may e.g. happen that instead of a recognized device address the next address number is added to the project.

Solution

Generally we recommend to scan and read the devices line after line, connecting the gateway to the line to be scanned/read (do not forget to change the local address!). Reason: The access across line couplers is much slower and less reliable. In addition, a high bus load is generated which migh affect the fucntion of the installation.

The described error is a timing problem that can only occur when scanning a non-local line.

The described error is fixed in version 2.0.206.
